GALT, IA — Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Norton, 97, were held at the Methodist Church in Clarion with burial in the Galt Cemetery. Eyler Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Norton was one of the oldest members of the Lincoln Ladies Union, which was organied more than 50 years ago. She was married March 1, 1892. Her husband died in 1944. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Reuben (Berna) Lovejoy, Bloomfield, Neb.; Mrs. Ralph (Cecil) Labarr, Galt; Mrs. Albert (Irene) Schau, Bonaparte, Iowa; Mrs. Carroll (Lucille) Swanger, Galt; Mrs. Gavl (Julia) Pepper, Pomona Calif.; a son, Lester, at home, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
