Services Held for Mrs. Leone Hubbell

Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Hubbell, 63, of Dows were held Monday, March 27, at the First Methodist Church in Dows with the Rev. Donald Harbour officiating. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery at Dows with the Van Hove Funeral home in charge of arrangements. She was born September 10, 1903 at Dows, the daughter of Julius and Emma Pepper, and was married to Joe Hubbell October 1, 1924 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Mrs. Hubbell was a charter member of the W. S. C. S. of First Methodist Church, Dows, and a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge. She is survived by her husband, Joe, and two daughters, Verdell, Mrs. Dennis Kelly, Williams; and Darlene, Mrs. Max Decker, Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren and one brother, Vernard Pepper, Independence, Iowa.
