Rites in Fort Dodge for Former Eagle Grove Woman

EAGLE GROVE — Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge for Mrs. Veva Bygness, 49, formerly of Eagle Grove. Mrs. Bygness became ill in a doctor's office in Fort Dodge and died there. Services were held at 1:30 and burial was in the Woolstock Cemetery. She was born at Woolstock the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Gardner. Surviving are eight children: Mrs. John Woodbeck and Rosemary Bygness of Fort Dodge; Mrs. Richard Buske and Madeline Bygness of Manson; Leroy and Ronald of Goldfield; Gerald of Martinez, Calif., and Gary of Ames.
