Augusta U. Larson, 91, of Minneapolis, formerly of Grafton, died Sunday, January 10, 1988, at a Minneapolis, MN nursing home. Funeral services were held Thursday at Hogan-Bremer-Connor Colonial Chapel, Northwood. The Rev. Gregory Bjornstad, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Grafton officiated. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Augusta was born February 27, 1896, at Corwith to Gustav and Emma (Walk) Kirchgatter. She was married to Walter Larson. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Minneapolis. Survivors include a daughter, Irene Sorenson, Phoenix, AZ, a son, Reuben Virchow, Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Iva Lang, Milwaukee, WI; a brother, George Kirchgatter, Riceville; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
