Goldfield services for Mary Lerdal, 92

Mary Lerdal, 92 of rural Goldfield, died July 1 at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at Lake Lutheran Church, Goldfield, with interment in the cemetery there. Mrs. Lerdal is survived by Margaret Lund of Goldfield, a daughter; one grandson; and two great-grandsons. Born May 22, 1883, Mrs. Lerdal was raised and educated in Saddied, Norway. She came to the U.S. in 1905 and married Hans Lerdal Jan. 10, 1914 at Thor Lutheran Church Parsonage, Thor. They farmed near Goldfield. Mr. Lerdal died in 1961 and Mrs. Lerdal continued to live on their farm northwest of Goldfield until her death.
