Alyson Walker, age 16 of Clarion passed away Monday, May 21, 2012, at Saint Mary’s Hospital – Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Funeral services for Alyson Walker will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 1:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street, in Clarion, with Pastor Dave DeKuiper officiating. Burial will be in Beloit, Kansas on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street, in Clarion.

Alyson Ann Walker, was born January 3, 1996 in Overland Park, Kansas to Randy and Mary (Koenig) Walker. Alyson lived most of her life in Spring Hill, Kansas before moving with her parents to Clarion in September of 2011. She recently completed 10th grade at Clarion-Goldfield High School. Alyson struggled with the effects of Spina Bifida, but always maintained a positive attitude and good spirit. She was known for her bright smile and great personality. Alyson enjoyed visiting her relatives, watching her favorite shows on Food Network and TLC, and loved to eat french fries. Alyson is survived by her parents, Randy and Mary Walker of Clarion, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Alyson was preceded in death by her grandparents.
