Belmond, IA - Daniel J. Middleton, age 64, of Tucson, Ariz., former Coast to Coast Hardware Store owner and resident of Belmond, and a native of Morton, Minn., died April 18, 2012, at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 27, at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Morton, Minn. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow.

Daniel J. Middleton, the son of Edward and Alice (Clouse) Middleton was born Nov. 20, 1947, at Morton, Minn. He attended Morton, Minn., schools. He was united in marriage to Pamela Stowell for many years. The couple later divorced. Daniel had owned and operated a Coast to Coast Store for many years in Belmond, before eventually moving to Arizona where he was employed with NEC Corporation for a number of years. He is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Scott) Bloemke, Belmond, and Tanya (Mark) McFarland of Phoenix, and their three children; Kylar, Tanner, Braeden all of Phoenix; a sister, Mary (Dale) Wohnoutka of Cottage Grove, Minn. and their children; Scot and Kari. Also his former spouse Pam Bushon of Phoenix, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents and other family.
