Goldfield Resident Suffers Fatal Stroke on Fishing Excursion

Goldfield, IA — Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Thursday for Herbert C. Oviatt, 59, who died suddenly at a hospital in Alexandria, Minn., early Monday after a short illness. He was stricken while on a vacation fishing trip with his wife. Besides his wife he leaves a son and 2 daughters.
