COULTER, IA - Dale L. Covington, 75, of Coulter, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, in Coulter. He was born June 20, 1936, in Benton County, to William and Beulah (Lungar) Covington. He attended schools in Benton County. Dale was united in marriage on August 17, 1985, to Angela Skiye in Goldfield, Iowa. He was a farmer and also enjoyed working as a water towers painter. Dale enjoyed camping, raising animals and pigs, old ears, playing guitar and listing to old music.
He is survived by his wife Angela Covington of Coulter, daughter Sherie Covington of Alexander, Carrie of Coulter, Dalene Covington of Eagle Grove, son Brandon Covington of Coulter, son Dale (DeDe) Covington of Utah, daughter Crystal Fowler of Utah, daughter Cimberly Covington of Utah, sister Frances Roster of Vinton, brother Ray Covington of Goodell and eighteen grandchildren. Dale is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
