Aaron M. McDermott, 35, of Rogers, Arkansas died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009. He was born March 8, 1974, in Humboldt, Iowa, to Michael L. McDermott and Ruth Bird McDermott. He worked in sales at Meeks for 15 years. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Melissa McDermott; two sons, Corbyn Michael McDermott and Chandler Ray McDermott; his father, Michael McDermott and his wife Linda McDermott of Lu Verne, Iowa; his mother, Ruth Kennicker of Bella Vista; his maternal grandparents, Gordon and Esther Brock of Humboldt, Iowa; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph McDermott and Kristan McDermott of Lu Verne; and a sister, Lisa Johnson of Bella Vista. Funeral services were Oct. 8, at KeyPoint Church in Bentonville, with Pastor Shane Roth officiating. Burial was at the Rogers Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Aaron McDermott Memorial Fund, an educational scholarship fund for Corbyn and Chandler McDermott, at any Arvest Bank.
