Lloyd Tibbs, 59, passed away Tuesday evening at the Ellsworth hospital in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 o'clock at the Home for Funerals in Iowa Falls. Rev. Hugh Ghormley will officiate and burial will be in Fertile with a service at 4:30 o'clock. Lloyd Tibbs was born February 8, 1894 in Mason City. He was married to Hazel Stuart September 15, 1923. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Fenton Tibbs of near Popejoy, Daryl, Lauren and Robert, all at home. The family had lived in Owasa for a good many years where Mr. Tibbs had been postmaster. They moved to a farm in Popejoy in March.
