March 16, 1905 --- April 28, 1991

Olga "Toots" Jensen, age 86, of Osseo, Wisconsin died Sunday, April 28, 1991 at the Osseo Area Municipal Nursing Home. Olga, the daughter of Martin and Ragna (Myklby) Aasgaard, was born March 16, 1905 in Lake Mills, IA. She married Irving H. Jensen Jan. 14, 1934 in Lake Mills. Irv preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1972. Irv and Olga owned the Wright Co. Reporter in Dows, IA for a number of years before purchasing the Walterick Printing Co. in Fort Dodge, IA. After six years in Fort Dodge, they moved to Osseo in October of 1960 and purchased the Tri-County News from J.H. (Hi) Smith. After Irv's death Olga began writing a column called "Potpourri" which she enjoyed doing for many years. She was always active in church in Iowa and at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, Olga was preceded in death by one brother, Marlin. She is survived by one son, Michael (Gloria) Jensen of Osseo; two grandchildren, Michelle and Brett; two brothers, Gordon Aasgaard and John Aasgaard both of Lake Mils, IA; two nieces and one nephew. Services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 1991 at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Roger Benrud officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the Osseo Cemetery. Schiefelbein Funeral Home, Osseo, is in charge of arrangements.
