December 15, 1944 -- January 29, 1997

Linda J. Vinsant, 52, Fort Dodge, died Jan. 29, 1997, at Trinity Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hammar officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is form 5 to 8 p.m. today at Bruce's Funeral Home. Survivors include her parents Francis and Mildred Thul, Fort Dodge; sisters Sharon Berns and Pat Holst, both of Fort Dodge, and Deb Jones, Auburn; brother Alan Thul, Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Linda J. Thul was born Dec. 15, 1944, in Eagle Grove. She attended Fort Dodge schools. She married George (Bill) Vinsant in 1962 and they later divorced. She was a Camp Fire leader and a member of First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the discretion of the family or to First Baptist Church.
