March 20, 1918 --- November 17, 2009

Paul Donegan born on March 20, 1918, passed away in his sleep on November 17, 2009. Florence Donegan, whom passed away this past March, shared her life with Paul for over 65 years, making him the luckiest man alive. The two shared an admirable life together, with a love that only the most blessed of people are able to know firsthand. Paul was survived by his three wonderful children; Paul Donegan, Joe Donegan, and Jane Donegan; who gained an appreciation for life from their father. Paul and Florence had seven grandchildren, Caleb, Madeline, Joe, Shawn, Katie Lee, Marybeth and Taylor, who are lucky to have had a grandfather whom was also their role model and friend. Paul was able to grace many lives with his presence, including his six great-grandchildren whom will always hear stories of their grandfather and his impact on so many lives. As Paul devoted his life to his family, he also dedicated 40 strong years to Southern Pacific Railroad as an engineer.

Paul survived his mother, Merle; father, George; brother, Garth and sister, Beverly, all whom are accredited with the remarkable upbringing of Paul, who certainly made them proud. For those of us who were privileged enough to have known Paul, we have been blessed with the knowledge of true love, the importance of family, and the wisdom of the greatest man we've ever known. There will be a service to celebrate his life on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Angel Valley Funeral Home, 2545 N Tucson Blvd.
