Dennis Dean RICHARDSON -- Born January 4, 1942 in Rock Island, IL to Paul and Gwen Richardson. "Denny" passed away February 22, 2002 at his home in Covington, WA at the age of 60 from diabetes-related complications. Dennis graduated from Clarion (Iowa) High School in 1960 and moved to Seattle in the early 1970s. He worked at Boeing as a machinist from the mid-70s until 1997. Dennis was a loyal fan of the Seahawks, Marilyn Monroe, and muscle cars built during the Nixon administration. Dennis is survived by his father Paul Richardson of Manteca, CA; (Gwen predeceased Dennis last August 19th), his younger sister Pam (Ron) Gearhart of Woolstock, IA, his nephews Michael (Dawn) Busick of Auburn, WA, Barry and Chris Busick of Seattle, WA, his niece Tracy Busick of Eagle Grove, IA and numerous friends and other relatives. Remembrances can be made in his name by attending a Seahawks game (and questioning the strategy of the coach), watching a Marilyn Monroe movie (and not paying attention to anyone else in the film), owning an early-1970s Chevrolet Chevelle (and disobeying neighborhood noise ordinances), reading the poem "I Knew A Man Who Went to St. Ives" (he was married four times), or letting go with a loud belch at an (occasionally) inopportune time. Services will be held as soon as we can get everyone together in one place at the same time.
