STAUFFACHER, NORDER, MARTY

April 30, 1870 -- March 19, 1948

MONROE, WI -- John F. Stauffacher, 77, of 724 Ninteenth st., died at a hospital today of a heart attack. He was born in Sylvester township and was married in Brooklink, S.D. to Clara Norder, Dec. 21, 1900. For several years Mr. and Mrs. Stauffacher lived in Renwick, Ia., where Mr. Stauffacher was employed as a carpenter. They moved to Monroe 38 years ago and Mr. Stauffacher accepted employment with the Monroe Lumber and Fuel co. He retired in 1939. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church. Survivors are his wife; three sons, George D., Monroe; Willis, Milwaukee, and Kenneth, Clarno township; three brothers. Matt, Monroe; Leonard, Fennimore, and Jacob, Renwick, Ia.; and a sister, Mrs. Fred Marty, Monroe. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Shriner-Neuschwander funeral home. The Rev. L. C. Viel will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
