Frank Gragert Funeral Set for Sunday

DOWS, IA — Funeral services for Frank E. Gragert, 75, will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Erickson Funeral Home here. He died Thursday at the home of a daughter in Valparaiso, Ind. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Dows. Mr. Gragert was born July 20, 1881, in Vernon Township near Dows and farmers for many years in the area. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Harry (Vera) Athens and Amy Paulsen, both of Valparaiso; Mrs. Leonard (Charlotte) Faust, Dows; Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Osborne, Stoutland, Mo., and Mary Gunderson, Mason City; a son, Roy Gragert, Rock Falls, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Martin, Dows; Miss Rosetta Gragert, Chicago, and two brothers, Ernest Dows, and Louis, Wayzata, Minn. There are 16 grandchildren.
