Robert M. McAllister, 93, of Dows, died on Friday, August 5, 2011, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, August 10, at the Dows Presbyterian Church. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Military graveside honors will be provided by the Dows American Legion Watson-Beach Post #523. Visitation will be held from 5–7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at the Dugger Funeral Home in Dows and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church.
