Annandale, MN -- Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Church, Fair Haven, for Alice H. Triebel, 89, who died Friday at Annandale Care Center. Interment will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale. Friends may call one hour before services Sunday at the church in Fair Haven.
Alice H. Triebel was born in Corwith, Iowa, to Henry and Ethel (Palmer) Steenlage. She married Ernest Triebel on April 23, 1932, in Fair Haven. She lived most of her life in the Fair Haven area and the past 3 1/2 years at the Annandale Care Center. She was a homemaker and worked as a country school teacher in Fair Haven Township, Stearns County, from 1928 to 1932 and for Fingerhut Corp. from 1961 to 1971. She and her husband spent 24 winters in Yuma, Ariz. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school. She also was a member of Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Busy Bee's Homemaker Club. Survivors include her daughter and sons, Jeanette Pramann of Clearwater, Arlene Schauer of Yuma, Ariz., Shirley Fischer of Clearwater, LeRoy of Bodega Bay, Calif., and David of Prior Lake; sister, Henrietta Williams of Richfield; 17 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jan. 21, 1998; and sister, Anna Hamann.
