DOWS - Inez M. Dockwell, 93, of Dows died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday May 19, at the United Methodist Church in Dows. Pastor Kalen Fristad will officiate. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Dugger Funeral Home, 100 N. Lee St. in Dows and continue one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.

Inez M. Dockwell, age 93, of Dows passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services for Inez M. Dockwell were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the United Methodist Church in Dows. Pastor Kalen Fristad will officiate. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Visitation for Inez M. Dockwell was held from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Dugger Funeral Home, 100 North Lee Street in Dows and continued one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. Dockwell’s name to the family.Inez Marie, the daughter of George and Jenny Eckert Hackbarth was born November 24, 1917 on the family farm in Morgan Township near Dows. She grew up in the Dows area where she attended and graduated from Dows High School in 1936. Inez was united in marriage to Raymond Jacobson Dockwell February 11, 1940 at the Morgan Township Methodist Church near Dows. Two daughters were born to this union. The first five years of their marriage the couple lived in Hampton where they ran a Standard Oil Station and later the Harrison Dairy. In 1945 they moved to her parent’s farm in Morgan Township and farmed for 28 years. In 1973 they moved to their present home in Dows.
Inez is survived by her children, Janice (Jerry) Norris of Dows: Bonnie (Rich) Baker of Georgetown, TX; four grandchildren, Brian Norris of Dows: Brenda (Kirk) Brown of Ankeny: Merle (Barb) Waters of Lakeville, MN: Marshall (Darrell) Regenold of Ft. Worth, TX and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two sisters and two brothers.
