William (Bill) Francis Rink died peacefully in his home in Tucson, Arizona on May 16, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. Services were held at South Lawn Mortuary in Tucson, Arizona on Monday, May 23 with military honors. Bill was born in Clarion April 10, 1948. He graduated from Clarion High School in 1967. He married Susanne Wicks of Eagle Grove on February 24, 1968. They had two children, Curt (deceased) and Candy of Tucson. They lived in Eagle Grove before moving to Tucson. Bill served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-74. He worked for Civilian Rail Passenger Service until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed spending time with family and especially with his granddaughters. Bill was preceded in death by his son Curt, his parents, John (Pete) and Gail (Smith) Rink and his brother Dick. He is survived by his loving wife Sue, daughter Candy, Jimmie Wood, his granddaughters Mariah and Stephanie, his brothers Don of Clarion, Bob of New River, Arizona and Tom of Scranton Iowa.
