Nora Adeline Wellemeyer Mohler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away [in Texas?] Friday, November 26, 2010 at the age of 90. She was born May 31, 1920 in Klemme, IA to Arthur and Lydia Griewe Wellemeyer. Nora graduated at the top of her class from Klemme High school in 1937. She taught 2 years of country school before continuing her education at Cedar Falls, IA teachers college. Here Nora met the love of her life, Richard (Dick )A. Mohler. They were married June 18th, 1942. Nora taught for 33 years in Ohio before retiring in 1972. Nora and Dick spent many summers traveling with their two children through out the United States, Canada, Europe, and Central America. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Richard (Dick) Mohler, Her son Gaylord Mohler, and daughter-in-law, Artie Mohler of Cedar Hill, Tx, her daughter JoyLynn Duke and son-in-law Eddie Duke of Bruceville, Tx, her granddaughter Cindy Duke and her husband Randy, her grandson Michael Mohler and his wife, Megan, her granddaughter Michelle Duke and her grandson, Joshua Duke, as well as her Great-Grandchildren, Casey, Justyn, and Isabelle Margaret and many nieces and nephews.
