November 28, 1922 --- April 4, 2005

Marie E. Schott, 82, passed away April 4, 2005. She was born in Meservey, Iowa, and had lived in Jacksonville for the last 45 years. Mrs. Schott was retired from the civil service. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacquelyn Crews. Survivors include five sons, Greg Schott (Carol), Dennis Schott (Cathy), Dough Schott (Judy), Jeffrey Schott, and Kevin Schott (Donna); a daughter, Susan Bare; two sisters, Bonnie Boelman and Leona Lieberknecht; a sister-in-law, Ruth Dorenkamp; a brother, Robert Dorenkamp; 13 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 10AM in the Bishops Garden of St. John's Cathedral 256 E. Church St. Following the service, the Family will be receiving friends at the Home of Dennis & Cathy Schott, 5874 Piper Glen Blvd. from 12:30 to 2:30.
