Funeral Services For P. George Peterson

P. George Peterson, age 74, rural Alden, retired farmer, died at the Franklin General Hospital at Hampton on Monday. He was born March 11, 1892 at Williams, Iowa, the son of Peter and Mary Peterson. He was married to Anne C. Kreitlow on February 28, 1917 at Clarion. Surviving are his wife, daughter, Dorothy, Mrs. Raymond Daniels of Alden, four brothers, Charlie of Alden, Dewey of Alden, Alex of Rolla, Mo. Walter of Iowa Falls and one sister, Mrs. Jens Christensen of Dows. Also surviving are a cousin, Mrs. A. O. Eckelberger, who was reared in this home, 4 grand children and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be Thursday at First Lutheran Church at Dows at 2 p. m. Burial will be in Alden Cemetery. Rev. David Anderson will officiate. The VanHove Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
