Mrs. Quackenbush Dies Wednesday

Mrs. Nell Quackenbush, 65, former Ames resident, died Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. in Mary Greeley Hospital. She was born Nov. 22, 1888, at Toledo, Ia., the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Amidon. She was married to John Quackenbush at Corwith, Ia. Nov. 22, 1916. Her husband died in 1945. A resident of Madrid for the past several years, she had been staying at the home of a friend in Ames during recent months. The funeral was held this morning in Madrid.
