Former Hardy Resident Died Fri. in Minnesota

HARDY, Iowa—Fred Winter of Triumph, Minn., a former resident of Hardy, died at his home in Minnesota Friday, September 28, after an illness of two weeks with flu. Mr. Winter lived in Hardy when a young man and is a brother of John Winter and Mrs. Geo. Lockwood, who now live in Hardy. Funeral services were conducted at Triumph Sunday, September 30th, and burial was at Lakefield cemetery. Those from here who attended the services were: Mr. and Mrs. John Winter and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Krause, Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Lockwood, and Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Mack.
