Former Resident of Renwick Died July 14
Miss Bessie Jordan, who lived on a farm west of Renwick for a number of years, died at her home at Omaha, Nebraska, July 14th, after an illness of one week. The body was taken to Vernon Cemetery for interment beside her parents. Miss Jordan moved from the vicinity of Renwick thirty years ago. She had lived with her parents on the farm now occupied by A. B. Trueblood and she taught school in that vicinity. Among those who attended the services at the cemetery were the Rev. Will Jordan of Omaha, Ernest Jordan of Sioux Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Edge of Humboldt, and Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Nixon of Pocahontas. Will and Ernest Jordan were brothers of the deceased. The Rev. McCracken of the Goldfield Presbyterian church, conducted the services.
