Lillian M. Shehorn, 77, longtime Woolstock-Webster City area resident, died early Monday morning at the Hamilton County Hospital where she had been a patient the past several weeks. She had been in ill health the past five years. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Williamson officiating. Burial is to be at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Dodge. Friends may call at Fosters after 5 p.m. Monday.

Lillian M. Lough, the daughter of James and Edith Gentry Lough, was born Nov. 2, 1904, at Enfield, Ill. She was reared and educated there, and Aug. 6, 1925, she married S. Russell Shehorn. Following their marriage the couple moved to Iowa and farmed in the Eagle Grove and Woolstock areas until 1947 when the moved to Woolstock. They owned and operated restaurants in Woolstock, Vincent and Badger for several years. Her husband died in April of 1963 and she continued to live in the Woolstock-Webster City area. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers and three sisters. She was a member of the Woolstock United Methodist Church and was active in women's organizations of the church.
