WILLMETTE, Ill. - Carol A. (Elbert) Drummond, 71, daughter of the late Leo and Alice Elbert of Corwith, Iowa passed away Oct. 28, 2008, in Wilmette, Ill., after battling a long illness. She was born May 28, 1937. She graduated from Corwith High School with the class of 1955. She married John Drummond on Sept. 3, 1960. She is survived by her husband John and three children: Beth Ann (Alan) Rubin, Lexington, Ky.; Duncan (Erin), Chicago, Ill.; Frank (Kim), California, Mo., and four grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers: Jerry of Savage, Minn.; Dean (Florence) of Sun City Center, Fla.; and Harlan of Pocahontas.
