Funeral to be Monday for Ackley Woman, 79

Ackley — Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Esser, 79, who died Thursday night, were to be conducted at 9:30 a. m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic church. Interment was to be in St. Mary's cemetery. Mrs. Esser was born Mary Dillon, June 4, 1867, at Lodi, I11., now known as Maple Park. She was married to Gustav Esser at Clarion and lived there before coming to Ackley 1892. Her husband died in 1899. Surviving are one son, Gus Esser, 5 daughters, Mrs. Frank Kochlelhoffer, Mrs. Ed Keninger and Miss Ellen Esser all of Ackley; Mrs. Lu Poler, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Kathryn Haney, Kansas City, Mo.
