Cleo Blanton of Garber's Nursing Home, Eugene, Oregon died November 11, 1985 at the age of 94. She was born May 5, 1891 in Popejoy, Iowa. She was married in Eugene, in 1910 [June 22, 1910], to William A. Blanton. She was a charter member of the Emerald Empire Baptist Church and of the Eugene Rebekah Lodge No. 55. She is survived by 2 daughters, Arlene Anderson of North Bend, and Doris Browning of Eugene, a son, Kenneth T. Blanton of Eugene; her sister, Myra Elliott of Eugene, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Private interment has been held at Rest Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Emerald Baptist Church in her memory. ENGLAND'S EUGENE MEMORIAL CHAPEL in charge of arrangements.
