FORMER ALBION MAN DIES AT WOOLSTOCK

Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock this Friday morning in charge of the Masons at Woolstock for Lester Price, former Albion man who died suddenly Wednesday afternoon at his home in Woolstock. Later services were held in the afternoon at the home of his mother, Mrs. Ida Mae Price, at Albion with burial at 2:30 in the Bethel Grove cemetery. Mr. Price, who operated a restaurant at Woolstock, died of a heart attack. he had been in his usual health until stricken. He was born April 9, 1906, at Albion, the youngest son of Mrs. Ida Mae and the late L. C. Price. He was graduated from Albion high school and later attended Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls and Central Iowa Business college in Marshalltown. He married Miss Jennie Wheatercraft at Newton eight years ago and they moved to Woolstock where they operated the Price cafe. He was a member of the Masonic lodge and city clerk for Woolstock for the last six years. Besides his widow and mother, he is survived by six brothers and sisters, Mrs. A. T. Sweely of Rodman, Mrs. J. N. McKibben of Garwin, Mrs. H. O. Wilkerson of Albion, Mrs. E. C. Porter of Marshalltown, John Price of Albion and Wilbur Price of Emmetsburg.
