CORWITH, IA — Lillian F. Chambers, 92, of Corwith, died Monday (July 13, 1998) at Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Britt. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Corwith, with the Rev. Linda Hansen Bibb officiating. Interment will be in the Corwith Cemetery, Corwith. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. today at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home with a 7:30 p.m. Eastern Star service conducted by the Algona Chapter No. 68 O.E.S.

Lillian F. Chambers was born Feb. 2, 1906, at Davenport. Survivors include her husband, Earl, of Corwith; three children, Norman Chambers, of Corwith, Carol Smith, of Clear Lake, and Nancy Weber, of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vonis Coverdell, Decatur, Ga., and Rita Hayes, of Knoxville; and two brothers, Edward Wagner, of Knoxville, and Kenneth Wagner, of Kanawha. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one son, one granddaughter, one brother and three sisters.
