CORWITH, IA — Harvey Henderson Hankins, 94, died Thursday (Aug. 20, 1998) at the Westview Care Center, Britt. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Corwith, with the Rev. David Miller of Clarion officiating. Burial will take place in the Corwith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Corwith.

Harvey Henderson Hankins was born on Oct. 30, 1903, in Crawfordsville, Ind. Harvey is survived by three sons, Roland Hankins of Corwith, Verle Hankins of Havasu City, Calif., and David Hankins, Honolulu, Hawaii; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathryn McChesney, Phoenix, Ariz. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, an infant daughter and seven brothers and sisters.
