CORWITH, IA — Virginia Mae Sorensen, 76, died Friday (March 6, 1998) at the Kossuth Regional Health Center, Algona. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Corwith, with the Rev. Linda Hansen Bibb officiating. Interment will be at East Lawn Cemetery, Algona. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Corwith. Virginia was born on September 6, 1921, at LuVerne. She is survived by her husband, Chuck, of Corwith; her son, Tim, of Algona; five sisters, Anna Marr, Sauk Centre, Minn., Irene Schichtl, Estherville, Betty Wahrer, Des Moines, Norma Mashall, Algona, and Janice Schulz, Mora Minn.; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one brother and two sisters.
