DIED AT FARM HOME TUESDAY
Funeral Services Pending for Floyd K. Berleen, Age 52

Floyd K. Berleen, 52, died suddenly early Tuesday morning at his farm home, 11 miles northeast of Webster City in the Mulberry community. He had been in poor health for several years and became worse Monday afternoon. Death was caused by a heart attack. Funeral services are pending; Fosters in charge. Mr. Berleen is survived by his wife and eight children: Mrs. Lionel Nicholson of Woolstock; Mrs. Mark L. Berogan, Blairsburg; Mrs. John L. Nicholson of Duncombe; John, with the U.S. Army, stationed at Pine Bluff, Ark.; William F., with the U.S. Navy, stationed at San Diego, Cal.; Richard, Earl and Erma at home. There are also five grandchildren. One brother, Robert, lives at Prosser, Wash., and a sister, Ruth, at Yakima, Wash. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John M. and Cora Berleen. Burial in Cass Township Cemetery.
