HUMBOLDT, IA - Margaret (Rosendahl) Fuentes-Peres, 50, of Des Moines, formerly of Humboldt, passed away Sept. 24, 2010 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday followed by memorial services at 7 p.m. at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt with the Rev. J.K. Raether officiating. Margaret is survived by her husband Jose, and daughter Katie, both of Des Moines; her mother, Faye Rosendahl, of Fort Dodge; and brothers Gail Rosendahl, of Rictor, Ariz.; Glenn Rosendahl, of Thor; Gary Rosendahl, of Osawatomie, Kas.; and Brian Rosendahl, of Charles City. She was preceded in death by her father Glen H. Rosendahl, brother Cletus Rosendahl and niece Sheila Rosendahl.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Jose and daughter, Katie both of Des Moines; and brothers, Gail Rosendahl of Rictor, AR, Glenn Rosendahl of Thor, Gary Rosendahl of Osawatomie, KS, and Brian Rosendahl of Charles City. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen H. Rosendahl; brother, Cletus Rosendahl; and niece Sheila Rosendahl.

Margaret Rosendahl, the daughter of Glen H. and Faye (Larson) Rosendahl, was born October 29, 1959 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was raised and educated at Humboldt and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1979. Following her education, Margaret was involved in the Jobs Corps until moving to Arizona. On June 20, 1989, her daughter Katie Faye was born. In that year, she returned to Humboldt and worked in the UDMO Office. She then made her home in Kansas before moving to Des Moines. In 1999 she met Jose Fuentes-Peres and the couple was united in marriage in 2002. At the time of her death, Margaret was beginning a new career with Wells Fargo in Des Moines. Margaret enjoyed reading and trips to the park. She was also very gifted with the computer.
