Ethelyn Beman died Sunday

Mrs. Ethelyn Cole (Sis) Beman, 63, Clarion, died there unexpectedly about 7 p.m. Sunday. Born at Ames, she had been an Ames resident all her life until moving to Clarion in April of this year, She was a graduate of Ames High School, and was employed with the Ames Pantorium. Mrs. Beman is survived by her husband, Max; a son, Fred M. (Bud), 111 East Seventh St.; her father, Dr. C. G. Cole, 1007 Douglas Ave,; five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Jackson, also of 1007 Douglas Ave., Mrs. Francis Dawson, Adel; Ellen Cole, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Jean Bates, Route 1, and Mrs. JoAnn Peterson, 405 24th St. and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday from Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Leroy Burroughs officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
