March 1, 1892 -- February 22, 1941

LONDON, MN, Feb. 25, 1941 -- Earl Dunfee, 48, resident of this community for many years, died Saturday after suffering from influenza. Born in Laurence county, Ohio, Mr. Dunfee moved to Iowa when he was 10 years old and in 1920 moved with his parents to the farm on which he still lived.

Four sisters and four brothers survive; Mrs. Ella McCarley, Gallia, Ohio; Laura Bunting, Britt, Iowa; Enice, Corwith, Iowa; Amizon Earls, Brill, Iowa; Sara Wilson, Los Angeles, Calf.; Shannon, London; John, Britt, Iowa, and Clarence, Rocky Ford Colo.

Services will be held tomorrow morning at 9:00 o’clock from the home and at 9:30 from the United Brethren church. Burial will be at Corwith, Iowa. Rev. Paul W. McFarland of Austin will officiate. Pallbearers include Garrent Richardson, William Copp, Ole Sola, William Navratil, Alfred Mudra, and Edward Mudra.
