Donald Gene Ford, Sr., 68, of Eagle Grove, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2006, at the USA Health Care Center, Clarion. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 5, at the Holmes Baptist Church. Pastor Pat Odle officiated at the 1:00 p.m. service. Interment will be held at a later date in the Graceland Cemetery, Webster City.

Donald Gene Ford, was born on September 30, 1937 in Lehigh, the son of Perry and Hazel (Farnham) Ford. He was raised and educated in Webster City. He spent most of his adult life working as a mechanic and trucking. Donald enjoyed working on anything mechanical and loved to fish.

Donald is survived by his children, Cindy Garcia of Denver, Colorado, Terri DeLaRosa of Coos Bay, Oregon, Don Ford of Clarion, Mary Smith of Eugene, Oregon, Peggy Lane of Cougville, Oregon and Jeff Ford of Clarion; one sister, Gertrude Wood of Eldora; two brothers, David Ford of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Thomas Ford of Iowa Falls; and special friends, Ernie Brown of Eagle Grove and Bob and Karen Williams of Corwith. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kathy Lopez; two brothers, Perry Ford and Robert Ford; and one sister, Martha Elliot.
