FERD FRISBIE, 70, RITES AT UNION

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 15 from the Biersborn Funeral Home in Union for Ferd Frisbie, 70, of Eldora who died Tuesday at the Eldora Community Hospital. Clergy for the service were Miss Bernice Rizor and Miss Joanne Henry, with Mrs. E. H. Biersborn as organist and Mrs. Don Meyers and Joanne Henry as vocalists. Interment will be in the Fenton Twp. Cemetery in Lone Rock.

Ferd Frisbie was born January 26, 1912 in Lone Rock, the son of Bert and Susie Robinson Frisbie. He was raised and educated in Lone Rock and Corwith. He was employed in various places in Iowa and Missouri. He spent the last one and one-half years at the Eldora Manor. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Morgart and Mrs. Frances Pfeiffer of Grinnell.
