OELWEIN, IA -- James L. Daniels, 53, died Saturday, April 23, 1994, in Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Oelwein, after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Grace United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Robert Dagit. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Survivors include his wife, Paulette; four daughters, Tori Panek and Lori Daniels, both of Des Moines, Brenda Curtis of Lamont and Stephanie Daniels of Oelwein; his mother, Catherine Dunfee of Corwith; and two brothers, John of Britt and Jerry of Corwith. Also surviving are four grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established for American Heart Association.
