SIOUX CITY, IA -- George William Morris, 66, of Sioux City died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital. Abiding by the family's wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be at a later date in Corwith Cemetery, Corwith, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

George William Morris, 66, Sioux City, passed away Jan. 13, 2010, at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center. George was born March 22, 1943, in Des Moines, the son of the late Leonard and Miriam Morris. He was preceded in death by his older sister and wife Connie Morris. George leaves behind one brother, one sister, one aunt, five children, one stepdaughter and two stepsons, several grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, as well as many friends. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service for George on June 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 214 Clinton St., in Corwith.
