Henry Tesdahl Service Wednesday

Henry Tesdahl, 72, of near Holmes and a lifetime resident of Wright County, died at the Clarion Hospital last Sunday morning, July 21. He had been in failing health for nearly a year. Funeral service was held in St. John's Lutheran Church, Perry Sampson, pastor, Wednesday afternoon, July 24, following a prayer service in the Eyler Funeral chapel. Burial was In Norway Township cemetery.

Henry Tesdahl was born to parents, Andrew and Rachael Tesdahl on the Tesdahl homestead northwest of Clarion June 8, 1891. He grew to manhood on the family farm, and after marriage spent his entire lifetime farming. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church and remained a faithful member until his death.

He was married Feb. 17, 1915 to Miss Anna Larson. From this marriage three daughters and one son survive: Alvina, Mrs. L. W. Sellers of Clarion; Margaret, Mrs. Ray Armstrong of Toronto, Canada; Mildred, Mrs. Phillip Ballou of Muncie, Indiana; and Richard of near Clarion. Following the death of his wife, Anna, on June 9,1927, he was united in marriage on June 16, 1944 to Mrs. Estella Bisgrove, who mourns his passing, together with the step-children, Mrs. Clair Woodley, Mrs. Wilbur Sebert, and Cleo Bisgrove, all of Clarion. There are 17 grandchildren. Brothers and sisters, who survive are Carrie Tesdahl of Fort Dodge, Severt of Belmond; Mrs. Tillie Evans of Kanawha, Mrs. Roy Brownell of Ferndale, Michigan; Lewis of Kanawha; and Mrs. Earl Stenson of Chicago. Preceding him in death were brothers, John, Eddie, Steen and one sister, Inga.
