Reverend Orville Martin Andersen, 85, of Franklin, NC (formerly of Winter Haven, Florida), went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 19, 2010 from lymphoma. He was born to Anton and Margaret Andersen July 18, 1925 in Clarion, Iowa. He was pastor of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church of Winter Haven for 15 years, and after retirement, he was Pastor Emeritus. He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Margaret, sister Norma Blilie, brother Tony Andersen, and grandson Timothy Youtsler. He is survived by his wife Janice of Franklin, NC; daughters Kathie Youtsler of Winter Haven, FL; Charlotte Andersen of Dallas, TX, Michele Preuhs (Elroy) of St. Louis, MO; stepdaughters Tanya Walling (Jeff) of San Leandro, CA and Lauren Farinas of Lakeland, FL. He also has 10 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. His siblings surviving him are Alvin Andersen (Maurine) of Hampton,IA; Marjorie Harrigan of Kanawha, IA; Elaine Hawley of Laurens, IA, and his sister-in-law Doris Andersen of Kanawha, IA. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 1910 Havendale Blvd, Winter Haven, FL on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Reception following the service in Ann Worth Hall. Oakridge Funeral Care.
