Former Eagle Grove Man Dies in Canada

EAGLE GROVE, IA —James Virgil Spires, 52, farmer, former resident of Eagle Grove, died at his farm
home in Osage, Saskatchewan, Canada, Thursday. The body was sent to Wilson at Eagle Grove and services in charge of the Rev. A. S. Kilbourn of the Congregational church were held at the Wilson chapel Wednesday. Burial was made in the Troy cemetery. The pallbearers were: Ab Wilcox, Milton Hopkins, Bert Craig, Al Stryker, Thomas Humphrey and Mason Doughton.
