Jesse Thebiay, Former Iowan, to Be Brought Back for Final Rites

Eagle Grove — Jesse Thebiay, 57, died Wednesday at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Colfrey at Kansas City. He was one of 12 children of the late Justin Thebiay, all born in Troy township south of Eagle Grove. A son, Ed, was killed about 20 years ago in a train-auto crash. Surviving children are: Mrs. Louis E. Beer and Mrs. O. A. Stryker, Eagle Grove; Mrs. Inez Bancroft,. Clarion; Mrs. R. T. Davis, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. A. B. Colfrey, Kansas City; Mrs. O. A. Jones, Boissevain, Canada; Mrs. Purd Phelps, Rapid City, S. Dak.; Mrs. Harker Smith, Los Angeles; Joseph D. Thebiay, Eagle Grove, and John E. Thebiay, Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Thebiay had been for many years representative in foreign countries of the John Deere company oi Moline, 111., but had been incapacitated for several months on account of ill health. The body will be brought to Eagle Grove for burial.
