Mrs. H. Notestine Died at home near Hardy last Sunday

Mrs Hannah Notestine passed away at her home west of Hardy at eleven o'clock Sunday morning after a lingering illness. She was eighty six years of age last March 29th. Mrs. Notestine was born in Jonesville, Wisconsin and came to Humboldt County in 1864, where she spent the rest of her life. Until last year she was active in keeping house for her son, Archie. Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church at Hardy. The deceased is survived by three sons, Harley of Eagle Grove, Harry and Archie of Hardy; one sister, Mrs John Winter of Hardy, and one brother, Alfred James of Hollywood, California. Her husband died a few years ago.
