NORTHGLENN, Colo. - Paul W. Dencklau of Northglenn, CO died August 3, 2010. He was 74. Paul was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1953. In 1962, he moved his family to Northglenn. He retired after 45 years as a carpenter and from working in construction and land development. Paul loved to fish, camp, and research his family's genealogy.

Paul is survived by Carolyn, wife of 55 years, children Steve (Amy), Debra (Bill), and Brenda (David), 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and brothers David and Ronald. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Frieda Dencklau, and his sister Velma. Memorial services were held August 7, 2010, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Northglenn. Interment will be in Colfax Township Cemetery near Vincent at a later date. If you feel it in your heart, memorials can be sent to Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 10675 N.
