LATIMER, IA -- Dean P. Hamilton, 75, of Latimer, died Tuesday (Nov. 12, 1996) at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Latimer, with the Rev. Richard Zulauf officiating. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Willim Funeral Home, Latimer.

Dean P. Hamilton was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Hampton. Survivors include his wife, Norma, of Latimer; one daughter, Corinne Strumpel of West Liberty; three sons, Dennis of Keokuk; Darwin of Iowa Falls, and Delbert of Latimer; three sisters, Pat Abbas of Geneva; Barb Powers of LaJunta, Colo., and Bonnie Dohlman of Hampton; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one great-grandson.
